Leaders Are Readers

Leaders are Readers

Harry S. Truman said “Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers.” I’ve always been an insatiable reader. I credit a big part of my success to this daily habit. If you were to ask me what my favorite hobby was I would say reading. Reading my scriptures to start off my day puts everything in perspective. Other book genres I read are history and leadership development books. Occasionally, I may read a fictional espionage book for entertainment. Generally, I read to gain more knowledge.

I thought I would share some books I’ve recently read or am currently reading:

· The Power of Starting Something Stupid by Richie Norton
· Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community and War by Nathaniel Philbrick
· Aspire!: Discovering Your Purpose Through the Power of Words by Kevin Hall
· Good to Great by Jim Collins

I would love to hear back from you what books have influenced you to be a success in your life. If any of you have read any of the above books or decide to read any please share your feedback.

“The mind that opens up to a new idea never returns to its original size.”

The Little Book of Mathematical Principles, Theories & Things (Pie symbol) by Robert Solomon

Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

I have many many more books in my que. I haven’t been able to work my business in 2 1/2 years due to things beyond my control. So, I have concentrated on myself; the one thing I can control. All that changes when I land in L.A. On Sunday June 28, 2015, three short weeks from now.
